LPIN LP 101 Class and Volunteer + Candidate Training Session
This is a FREE event to attend – Sponsored and coordinated by the Libertarian Party of Indiana
New Castle Public Library, New Castle Indiana
Meetings Rooms A&B
This day will be cumulative for individuals that are interested in the Libertarian Party. We will start with an introduction to the party, followed by a class and question and answer session, which will explain libertarian principles to prospective and new members.
We will have discussion periods, followed by lunch. (we ask that attendees pitch in 5.00 to cover the cost of lunch).
Following lunch, we will have a volunteer training session, for anyone that is interested in helping with campaigns, and libertarian activism. This is a great opportunity for those that are new to politics to learn about how they can be active in their community, and learn how a political campaign works. Great for high school students!
Finally, we will have a candidate training session, for all declared candidates and those who are interested in running for office. We will have the opportunity to add candidates to the ballot until the end of June, so this is a great opportunity for attendees to learn about how to run for office and to finalize their plans.
